These prints are based on photos taken by the artist. The images are carved from linoleum blocks using hand-held cutting tools, then printed with various types of inks on either smooth-pressed or hand-made papers. Then ink wash or colored pencil is added in the areas surrounding the animal forms. In some of them an additional stamp-print was carved, such as  the human heart (mine) added to some of the animal figures.
